- A Potential Electromagnetic Source for the Observed Wang Eclipse Anomaly (2012) [Updated 1 decade ago]
Researchers have been straining to find explanations for the anomalies recorded by Wang, et al, during the 1997 Mohe eclipse, based on the assumption that the anomalies were of gravitational origin. An examination of the energetic nature of the solar chromosphere-corona regions, the shielding geometry of the eclipse and the instrumentation design suggests that electromagnetic, rather than gravitational, effects may have produced the recorded data anomalies.
- Does the GPS System Rely upon Einstein's Relativity? (2012) [Updated 1 decade ago]
A large scale overview of GPS system operation is provided and the process of achieving a navigation solution is explained. The process is based on classical physics. The one instance where a prediction of General Relativity appears to be realized is shown to actually not depend upon General Relativity. A closed loop feedback control system approach is shown to provide the error detection and correction that produces the high accuracy of the GPS system, without reliance on Einstein's relativity.
- The Revolutionary Plasma Power Technology of Josef Papp (2012) [Updated 1 decade ago]
In 1972, Josef Papp patented a Method for Converting Atomic Energy into Utilizable Kinetic Energy. His method modified standard internal combustion engines by eliminating the intake and exhaust systems and filling the cylinders with a mix of noble gases (Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton and Xenon) which were excited by an arc discharge that converted the normally inert gasses into a plasma. The plasma transition produced an enormous amount of energy, measured to be 80 times the energy input that excited the gases to plasma. Papp appears to have demonstrated a clean, powerful new energy technology that could become the power source for our future.
- Refuting the Over-Unity Claim of the Multiple Moving Magnets Experiment (2012) [Updated 1 decade ago]
A report of an experimental apparatus was recently presented by Jeffrey Cook, which consisted of an electrically driven inductor and five reversible DC motors, functioning as DC electrical generators, which were linked to ring magnets suspended above the inductor and positioned on axles at 90 orientation from a radial of the inductor. The report included a coefficient of performance calculation and reported that with certain input signal parameters, the experimental device produced significantly greater output power than was input, thereby claiming over-unity performance. An analysis of the method of measurement of input power to the drive coil, which affects the calculation of the coefficient of performance, is found to have failed to include all sources of input energy, thereby refuting the claim of over-unity performance.
