  • Logical Constructions in Special Relativity (2001) [Updated 7 years ago]

Foundations for Special Relativity are often claimed in Michelson`s experiments, which registered constant value of light speed. Lorentz explained this result by variations of length and time caused by movement of the Earth relative to the ether. Einstein gave an alternative explanation: characteristics of space and time in a definite reference system vary, if measured by a moving observer, in such a way that the light speed appears constant. This idea contains several logical discrepancies. The present paper seeks to expose and remedy them.

  • Electrodynamics and Gravitation Based on Trends Preceding Maxwell and Einstein (2000) [Updated 8 years ago]

In the equations of Gauss and Weber, the interaction force of moving electric charges is independent of the observer?s reference system movement, without the relativistic treatment of space and time. In this paper we propose a model for interaction of charges that explains the Weber equation based on the following propositions: the action of a moving field is similar to the Doppler effect; the interaction of charges q1 and q2 is caused by ?action fields?, the strength of these fields for immobile charges is q1/r and q2/r (r being the path of the moving field); the computed distance between charges is obtained by considering the retardation of the field.
