THE THORNY WAY OF TRUTH represents a collection of documents of different kind which show the enormous difficulties which Stefan Marinov had to overcome on his way in restoring absolute space and time, in revealing the gravitational character of kinetic energy and the static character (in general) of our world.  The "law of inertia" is valid for the collective creation of political, moral, artistic or scientific character.  Traditions and conservatism are indispenable for the functioning of anysociety, science or religion.  However, if one gives no freedom for the communication of new ideas and of the results of new experiences and experiments, the progress in human society and science is impossible.  As this book shows, our society is rather the same as in the times of Jesus Christ and Galileo.  Of course, the norms of behavior have become more sophisticated, but one is not sure whether this "sophistication" is a result of our enlightenment and humanisation or those who maintain the power have understood that the imprisonment in psychiatric clinics is more effective than a crucification and the covering with silence is more effective than a denial. - Back cover

This book is the first collection of science papers by Miles Mathis. Its topics include various problems in physics and math, beginning with the famous Unified Field problem of Einstein and string theory. Both Newton?s and Coulomb?s famous equations are unified field equations in disguise. This was not understood until I pulled them apart, showing what the constant is in each equation and how it works mechanically. A unified field equation does not need to unify all four of the presently postulated fields. To qualify for unification, it only has to unify two of them. The unified field equations that will be unmasked in this paper both unify the gravitational field with the electromagnetic field. This unification of gravity and E/M was the great project of Einstein and is now the great project of string theory. But neither Einstein nor string theory has presented a simple unified field equation. In this book nuclear engineer Mehran Keshe discloses in a very logical way that the initial fundamental building blocks of the universe find their origin in a cosmic magnetic soup that contains an uncountable number of magnetic fields of different strengths. This book provides an easy-to-read description of the spiral field theory, along with its some fundamental equations. There are only two elements that make the Universal Cycle Theory radical - cycles and infinity. Other than that, much of what you read in the book will seem familiar and conventional. The book focuses on these key elements in the following ways.

Cycles are crucial because they explain how matter moves. Motions develop because of two types of cycles - vortices and waves. A vortex causes matter to rotate, which produces circular cycles. And waves cause matter to compress-and-decompress in repeated oscillations, which produce linear cycles. According to the Universal Cycle Theory, these two basic motions explain much, if not most, of what happens in the universe.

Infinity is crucial because it explains the extent and structure of the universe. Based on logic and observations, we assume that matter is infinitely divisible and integrable. We also assume that time was infinite in the past and will be infinite in the future. From the literature, we could not find an example of this concept of infinity previously employed in a model of the universe. Indeed, this model is unique. Importantly, it explains many of the paradoxes and contradictions currently riddling physics and cosmology.

This explains the title of our book - Universal Cycle Theory: Neomechanics of the Hierarchically Infinite Universe. Cycles explain the motions in the universe, infinity explains the hierarchical structure of the universe, and neomechanics explains the physical laws used in the theory. Think of neomechanics as an adaptation of classical mechanics to conform to infinity.

The neomechanical worldview offers something that no other theory has to this point - unique insights and perspectives into some of the most challenging dilemmas facing scientists. For example, the neomechanical model helped us discover the cause of gravitation. More than three centuries ago, Newton developed an equation for gravitation. However, no one has ever identified the actual physical cause. The prevailing view, of course, is that gravity is a pull; whereas, we describe it as a push.

Gravitation follows the inverse-square law, just as Newton said; it involves inertia, just as Einstein said; it involves pushing, just as Lesage said; it includes vortex motion, just as Descartes said; and it entails aether, just as many philosophers since the ancient Greeks said. Even though we agree with these old and much-debated gravitational theories, none of them are adequate. In formulating the neomechanical theory of gravitation, we took the best from the best, and added a few new ideas. The rest fell into place with little effort. We discovered that gravitation results from aethereal pressure - nearly the same as air pressure. After reading the book you will wonder: "Why didn't I think of that myself?"

New theories purporting to explain the universe are common. However, supporting a theory with credible evidence is another story. This book explains the physical reason for gravitation in great detail. Of course, gravitation is so basic, and its solution formerly so intractable, that one should expect the discovery of its physical cause to impinge on the rest of science. The book presents an unusual approach to the analysis of cosmological issues. After reminding the reader of the dramatic change occurred even in Einstein's mind concerning the consistence of the Universe's physical space, the book's author invites the reader to reconsider the reasonable assumption that the "vacuum" is not void space, but, on the contrary, is the basic undetectable substance from which every physical phenomenon comes onto the perceivable reality. In his book, "Mein Weltbuild" (1934), after two decades of theoretical denial and uncertainty, Albert Einstein arrived at stating: "According to the general theory of relativity, space without ether is unthinkable, for in such space not only would there be no propagation of light, but also no possibility of existence [...] of any space-time interval in the physical sense".

Note that the start of Einstein's scientific career and success was based on the denials of any need to consider the existence of the "ether" or the like.

In 1991, in their book "The Philosophy of Vacuum", S. Saunders & H.R. Brown wrote: "Today the vacuum is recognized as a rich physical medium [...] A general theory of the vacuum is thus a theory of everything, a universal theory. It would be appropriate to call the vacuum "ether" once again".

Thus, the book restates the existence of such a cosmic basic substance, dubs it "plenum" in order to identify in its continuity its fundamental characteristic (i.e., the plenum does not consist of component particles), and hypothesizes the complementary presence of an infinite "true and absolute void", that surrounds the plenum and interferes with it. Inside such a void no physical phenomenon can either occur or propagate.

The plenum - in which the observable universe consists - is thought of as a finite incompressible "fluid" medium capable of any motion proper to very dense and homogeneous fluids, though neither mass nor energy should be attributed to the plenum in its rest state (if any).

On this basis, the outlined theory develops analytical definitions and implications; amongst which the possible formation of nuclei of true void inside the plenum, which - like because of "lacerations" - opens to the absolute void through torsion and/or rotation motions. The formation of masses, either permanent or ephemeral, depends on states of the plenum around nuclei (both infinitesimal and gigantic) of void.

Vortices are particular motions of the plenum.

Vortices do always form around linear 'cords' of true vacuum that tend to close in "rings" or "knots" of fluid vortical "ropes": classic fluid-dynamics explains how and why.

Ring-vortices, in the author's opinion, are the simplest forms of "gravitational fields". The motion distribution of the fluid plenum within vortices determines - like in fluid dipoles - gradients of the fluid's speed in association with stationary kinematic fields of accelerations, which interact in various ways with any possible discontinuities (masses, or minor vortices for instance) appearing/forming in the fluid's flow continuity. Moreover, it is supposed that far from being the cause of gravitational attraction, ?masses? are emerging effects inherent in the formation and activity of gravitational vortices. In this connection, the book does also expound a re-interpretation of Newton?s gravitational law, which is got over by the new analysis of the issue in terms of fluid-dynamics.

The analysis leads to the formulation of equations, which may be considered as new schematic descriptions of gravitational fields and phenomena as well as of other dynamic effects.

Three appendices supplement the book's contents, in which explanations are also suggested for observed cosmic events that should not be expected in the light of the mainstream cosmological theories.

The outlined theory, however, is far from claiming it shows the final path to an explanation for everything, though the way of reasoning lies on the need for the formulation of a fundamental theory of the plenum or "ether" or whatever concept of the kind could profitably be proposed for better mastering matter and forces.

From his philosophical viewpoint, the author deems that the reality we perceive and observe remains always beyond the capability of human languages to represent it completely. The main purpose of the book does rather aim at suggesting experimental trials for practical achievements, such as instruments fit for controlling gravity effectively.

An original theory for gravitation is presented. Unlike various other theories, this one explains all observed phenomena in mechanical terms, which can be easily visualized and comprehended.

Although this book is centered on gravitation, the underlying physics is in accord with all other physical phenomena, so that it represents the long sought-after unification of physical theories.

Empirical Science validates itself by claiming its assertions are based on measurements of physical reality. However, none of its claims has any basis in physical reality. There is no physical evidence that gravity is proportional to, and therefore a property of mass. There is no way to prove that an object will move in a straight line unless a force acts on it to change that motion and, in fact, nothing moves in straight lines. The historic swirling mass of gas claimed to impart its motion to matter in the solar system and therefore account for the rotation and orbiting of planets is just an ad hoc fantasy that fails to explain any of the chaotic movement that is the solar system, and the off-the-wall assertion that chaos provides the solar system with the stability it needs if it were formed out of a swirling mass of gas is as nonsensical as the unfounded belief that particles that repel each other hold matter together. Even the measurable facts Empirical Science claims as validation are opposed by measurements in physical reality. Light, which can be physically measured to diminish out of existence with distance on Earth travels forever in space so that we can see stars at the end of the universe and the beginning of time. Objects, which come to rest with respect to the forces acting upon them on Earth are claimed to move without current force in space. Energy is always consumed on Earth but gravity, which forces objects to come to rest on the surface of the Earth, is not used up when it bends the straight-line motion of the planets into circular motion. Momentum, which is always overcome by gravity on Earth is not affected by gravity in space allowing planets in space to be bent into perpetual circular orbits. In putting numbers to things, Empirical Science can only approximate the stars in galaxies and the atoms in matter in the billions, but can tell with precise accuracy the number of electrons orbiting the nuclei of the atom of any element. It uses parallax measurements to determine interstellar distances when the errors that have to be taken into consideration to compute the measurements exceed the measurements themselves.
