The phenomenon of ball lightning still remains one of the greatest mysteries in the field of the plasma science and electromagnetism. Despite enormous contemporary advancements into the micro-world ? the structure of elementary particles, nuclei, atoms, and the origin, evolution, and structure of the universe, the natural phenomenon of ball lightning, which literally appears right in front of our eyes during a storm or in electrical appliance in our houses, still remains baffling.

But why this interesting phenomenon failed to attract the serious attention of physicists? First, because nobody expects to realize any great benefit for humankind from understanding the nature of ball lightning. A common belief is that the energy of ball lightning is negligible and comes from an external source. Second, to reproduce a natural phenomenon under controlled conditions requires a clear understanding of what, exactly, the natural phenomenon is. So far, modern scientists are not clear about the nature of ball lightning. Observations, not experimentation, remain the only source of information; and these observations are based on statistical analyses of reported sightings of ball lightning by members of the general public. Great theories never come to life in their final crystalline form. The first published variants of these theories are always imperfect, incomplete, contaminated by the viruses of human conservatism and fallacy. It takes years of additional hard work to heal them from their inborn defects. The same is now happening with General Quantum Mechanics ? the present variant of GQM is, I hope, the final variant of the GQM Cosmology.

Official scientists continue to work within the confines of officially accepted scientific dogmas and theories long after there is enough factual proof to disprove them. For example, now existing are a lot of experimental and observable facts against A. Einstein?s ?great? theories and his ?great? ideas (?Principle of Separation? and ?Unified Field Theory?). In the theoretical apparatus of the Physical Science, A. Einstein replaced philosophical and physical principles, governing the fundament of our world, by some very complicated mathematical tricks. Thus, he created the contemporary official Fundamental Physical Science; in fact he created ?Anti-Physical Science?. Or, as I call it - ?Mathephysics.? This officially ruling Mathematical Monster is killing and devouring all newborn theories which presume to contest its absolute power over Fundamental Physical Science. Mathephysics gave birth to dead-born children-theories and material formations such as: Theory of General Relativity, Big Bang theory, Inflation theory, String theories, Standard Model, contemporary Quantum Mechanics, ?Dark? matter, ?Dark? energy, MACHOs, WIMPS, axions, X-particles, gluons, gravitons, magnetic monopoles, ?False? vacuum, Higs-fields, and many others. These dead theories are not proven to be true and universal ? they don?t answer the question of what underlying basic principles determine the existence of considered fundamental phenomena. Matter is one of the most basic substances in the world. Our universe is a universe of matter; our human bodies are built up out of matter. All material objects in the universe exist in a framework provided by Space and Time. Space and Time are basic features of matter only...

Not one contemporary accepted physical theory covers more than a small fraction of the total field of the fundamental physics. The present-day structure of physical thought is made up of a host of separate theoretical models, loosely related, and at many points actually conflicting.

All classical theories are mostly phenomenological theories. Such theories describe and summarize experimental facts in some field of physics. These theories do not explain the fundamental reasons of existing of the considered material objects and phenomena. Newton?s Law of Gravity is a good example of that, this is a formula based on observable facts, which tie together the parameters responsible for the strength of the gravity force. Newton?s ?Gravity Law? is just a mathematical tool for the calculation of gravity force ? it doesn?t explain the nature of this force. Contemporary ?non-classical? theories are not much better. They are a combination of some quantum principles, phenomenological elements, and very complicated mathematical apparatus...

Philosophy is the soul of any fundamental physical theory, mathematics is the body. Contemporary officially accepted fundamental physical theories are dead theories ? they have no soul (philosophy).

Contemporary General Physical Science is in a ?Dead End? now ? it has exhausted its mathematical possibilities for explaining the new discovered phenomenon (which are located on the Edge of the Scientific Front), its reservoir of basic scientific dogmas desperately needs general reform and renovation.

I am aware that drastic changes in the existing state of knowledge about the general theory of the world (involving, as it does, official quantum mechanics, the theories of relativity, the theories of elementary particles, the standard model, the cosmological theories, etc.) will disturb or destroy the credibility of numerous scientific textbooks, careers, Nobel prizes along with other scientific awards, tenure at prestigious universities, and very expensive research programs being conducted by such entities as NASA, the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of Defense, etc. For these reasons, there is a great deal of reflexive and emotional resistance to ideas, experiments, and practical applications that are as revolutionary and disruptive for contemporary official science as those I described in my books, Final Quantum Revelation (FQR, 1994), General Quantum Mechanics (2001), and The Unveiled Secrets of Primary Substance (2005)...

Nuclear energy is over. Fossil fuel energy economy is over. Quantum free energy will become the future main source on our planet. Quantum free energy has no alternatives ? ZPE and other energy ?inventions? are just science fiction. The energy crisis now is a crisis of our civilization.
