Translated from Idestr?m's Swedish book: Einsteins teorier - tvivelaktiga: en kritik i popul?r framst?llning (1946), with very small adjustments.  The book is written in an enjoyable and popular form, almost without mathematics.  The absurdities in using elastic space and time concepts is strongly condemned.
