  • Inertial Transformation Extended to the General Case (2010) [Updated 5 years ago]

The assumption of a privileged frame of reference entails a special type of transformation, different from the Lorentz transformation. The simplest form of this special type, here called ?inertial transformation? (IT), applies to the special case where one system is privileged. The present paper deduces the general type of inertial transformation, including cases of both systems in absolute motion, with their absolute velocity vectors directed relative to each other at any angle between 0 and (Pi).

  • An Alternative to SRT: a Theory Based on the Idea of a Privileged System (2007) [Updated 1 decade ago]

This paper introduces a new theory based on Lorentzian ontological presumptions. The transformation deduced from these presumptions appears to be different from the Lorentz transformation. Comparing the consequences of both transformations reveals their kinematic equivalence, and their dynamical difference; in particular, it becomes evident that energy indicates properties corresponding to the idea of absolute motion.
