Nature produces energy by slow, cool, implosive means - by a centripetal inward motion, while our present culture uses explosive centrifugal (outwards) movement, which is wasteful and many times less powerful and effective. It also uses up the Earth's resources and pollutes her ecosystems. This volume describes different kinds of energy machines which depend on the principle of implosion: - a spring water-producing machine - a tornado home energy generator - a Klimator which produces mountain-quality air - the biotechnical submarine - a technique for producing power from ocean deeps - a flying saucer prototype which rose at fantastic speed to high altitudes - a perpetual motion suction-based implosion machine Other books by Viktor Schauberger The Fertile Earth Nature as Teacher The Water Wizard.

How does Nature work? When one looks closely at the enormously complex web of life, it is impossible not to be caught by the wonder of how all living things - yes including rocks and crystals - are interconnected. Just as there is thought behind action, so there is energy behind matter. Schauberger is able to demonstrate how Nature works because he has been able to observe and describe how its energies manifest and produce the material world. This, the third volume in the eco-technology series, contains Schauberger's writings on trees, biodynamic agriculture and subtle energies in nautre. It answers questions like why are so many species of plant and animal disappearing? 'Industrial civilisation lurches towards ecological meltdown, Schauberger's prescient ideas and discoveries will be closely examined by all who seek to find a way for humanity to live in harmony, rather than conflict, with Nature.' - Ralph Metzner

Austrian theorist and engineering genius Viktor Schauberger (1885 ?1958) spent a lifetime observing and intuiting the processes of Nature, water in particular. So much so, he earned the nickname "the Water Wizard" ? an apt title for this book.

This is the first of four volumes in the milestone "Eco-Technology" series, encapsulating for the first time in English the letters, papers, articles and debates of Viktor Schauberger. (Forthcoming volumes will cover trees, soil and fertility.) The material has been painstakingly collated, translated and edited by Callum Coats who has spent many years studying Schauberger's theories and inventions and has had access to family archives courtesy of Victor's son Walter. Coats is also the author of Living Energies, the definitive account of Schauberger's life and achievements.

Viktor Schauberger well understood the importance of water as a life-giver, but he equally understood how water can become diseased and devoid of life-enhancing energy when treated incorrectly or ignorantly. What he criticised vehemently in his day about poor water-management practices is applicable even more so today. Water quality control workers, for instance, need to be aware that recycled water is lifeless and unfit for human consumption unless it has been reinvigorated?using simple energy-restoring technologies. In fact, anyone who has anything to do with water, whether catching, storing, drinking or disposing of it, should be encouraged to study and apply Schauberger's principles and practices.

More energy is encapsulated in every drop of good spring water than an average-sized power station is presently able to produce - Viktor Schauberger (1885-1958) WATER - all life depends upon it. Yet how often do we stop to consider it true significance, its essential nature? Viktor Schauberger was a pioneering genius who combined keen observation of Nature with intuitive brilliance and a sharp engineer's brain. He made a lifelong study of water - from mountain streams to river flows and from domestic supplies to advanced hydraulics - developing profound and radical theories about its inherent energies, which earned him the name of 'The Water Wizard'. According to Schauberger, water is akin to blood in the human body - the most important life-giving and energy-empowering, substance on the planet. Yet, with incorrect, ignorant handling, it becomes diseased, affecting human, animal and vegetable life alike, causing physical decay and, in the case of people, their moral, mental and spiritual deterioration as well. Schauberger was a fearless exponent of natural energy and a fascinating polemicist, revelling in doing battle with contemporary orthodox scientists. Sadly, the same extractive and water management policies which brought devastation and widespread pollution in his day have even greater consequences today. Themes addressed include: - The natural pulsation of water and how to maintain it - How minute differences in temperature affect the natural function of water in the earth, in plants and in rivers. - How to regulate rivers without damaging their vitality and health - The natural conversion of sea-water into fresh water - The consequences of sterilisation and chlorination of water The 'Eco-Technology' series, in four volumes of which this is the first, makes available for the first time Victor Schauberger's original writings and passionate debates. Other books by Viktor Schauberger: Energy Evolution, The Fertile Earth, Nature as Teacher.

Interest in Viktor Schauberger is enjoying a worldwide revival because he was able to convey how an understanding of Nature's subtle energies is essential to our survival. Callum Coats has painstakingly collected, translated and edited the material for what promises to be the most definitive study yet of this extraordinary man's life and work. Other volumes cover Schauberger's research on trees, soil and fertility and his amazing practical applications for working with nature and for generating free energy. He is also author of 'Living Energies', the standard work on Schauberger's ideas.
