Mr. Bishop’s label "the forbidden equation" is actually quite appropriate. But, it is not just because he has found no one else who mentions or uses it; rather, it is because it should be forbidden from physics, not admired as a new discovery about physics.- Prof. William A. Gardner, Electrical Engineering, UC Davis
There is any number of equations used to describe electric current. But there is one simple equation that is seldom to be found in any Academic textbook or Peer-reviewed journal article. Yet what I've named "The Forbidden Equation", i=qc, is nothing more or less than the defining equation of electric current, with i the electric current, q the net line charge per unit length, and c the speed of light. It is apparent why this equation is buried so deeply as to be unheard of- it destroys the idea of electric current, and all that descends from that idea, by its very definition. There have been a few recent sightings of The Forbidden Equation, all curiously enough in papers addressing The Catt Question.
i=qc is a mainstream equation, inseparably contained within their other electromagnetic equations and easily derived from them using elementary algebra. It is Gardner’s Equation, Maxwell’s Equation, and Einstein’s Equation as well. Behold the abyss.
- The Solution to the Ice Age Extinctions (2016) [Updated 8 years ago]
Hundreds of animal species famously died out during the last Ice Age. The reasons behind the Ice Age, Pleistocene, or Quaternary, megafaunal extinctions have been puzzled over for more than a century without any clear resolution. The problem has been called the 'Fermat’s Last Theorem of paleobiology'. These extinctions took place over thousands of years and around the world, but there was a strange specificity about which animals could stay and which had to go. There are two major theories about what caused this, the human-hunting theory and the climate-change theory. Both, yet in curious ways, are wrong. The true cause has to do with particular strengths and weaknesses of biological processes, and it unfolded over almost the entire history of life on Earth.

The title is a double entendre and this is the most important story ever told.
- Reforming Electromagnetic Units, Equations, and Concepts: An Extension of Ivor Catt Theory (2012) [Updated 1 decade ago]
Some of the problems, paradoxes, and clutter within the mathematical physics of the past few centuries are briefly reviewed. Catt's concept of illusory static fields created by TEM waves replaces the electrostatic and magnetostatic field concepts, removing any number of these paradoxes at once. Z0, the vacuum wave impedance, is a physical constant as fundamental as the speed of light; together they replace permittivity and permeability. A units system- 'MNSZ', is proposed in which either the ohm or Z0 replaces the ampere, allowing physical constants and equations to be rewritten without reference to coulomb, generally in a more compact form. By replacing the dielectric constant with the index of refraction, the common electrical equations are reduced to more compact forms that highlight the wave nature of the purported electric charge. Several example applications are shown, including a compact new expression for the voltage of the photon. Recent experimental results are presented which refute the exponential-decay model of a discharging capacitor.
- The Science of Censorship (2012) [Updated 1 decade ago]
Alongside the rise of illicit censorship these past few millennia and decades comes its ever urgent and improving theory and countering practice. Elements of Bernays' propaganda, Lobaczewski's Ponerology, Girardian theory, DeMause's psychohistory, Lifton's mind control theory, along with the large and growing literature on the social dynamics of natural and functional psychopaths and their ?true believer' authoritarian followers are drawn together. These latter clinical and theoretical advances have given us new tools for recognizing and countering destructive censorship. Specific tools for this purpose are described herein, beginning with Lobaczewski's and Peck's important concepts of psychological immunization and hygiene. A multi-year case study of the censorship of Ivor's Catt's work is presented as a template for the more general situation. The observed machine-like qualities of illicit censorship are reduced to a formal set of propositions which then lead to testable- and tested- hypotheses. From there, a science and technology of anti-censorship is proposed, bearing in mind that ?without barriers to communication there can be no communication?.
- A Coherent Reframing of the Master Equations of Electromagnetic Theory (2011) [Updated 1 decade ago]
The electromagnetic expressions for capacitance, inductance, and
resistance are reformulated in terms of the index of refraction, n, of
the dielectric material surrounding the two conductors of the so-called
electric circuit together with the vacuum speed of light, c, and vacuum
wave impedance, Zo. The ?quantities-per-unit-length? concept is shown to
be closer to the physics than is the ?lumped-element? concept. The
critical features of three different theories- of alleged electric
circuits, of transmission lines, and of optics, are shown to be aspects
of a single, coherent opto-electromagnetic theory of TEM Wave
Electrodynamics. A necessary part of putting this show in order requires
dismissing the actors known as electric permittivity, magnetic
permeability, electric current, magnetic flux, voltage, and electric
charge. These are the misdirected characters starring in a drama about
static fields and electric currents that never were. - The Death of Voltage (2011) [Updated 1 decade ago]
Voltage is shown to be a mathematical confection much like electric
current and charge were. None of the above entities have ever been
measured regardless of the names of the instruments. - The Fine-structure Constant and Some Relationships Between the Electromagnetic Wave Constants (2007) [Updated 1 decade ago]
The four primary wave constants are brought together in one place. The often overlooked wave impedance is proposed to be exactly as fundamental as the speed of light. The little-used relationship between these constants highlights a central confusion in conventional electrodynamics units and theory. The fine-structure constant is reformed in terms of the wave impedance of the vacuum.
- The Enumeration and Space-Tiling Motifs of Marked Polyhedra (2007) [Updated 8 years ago]
Although polyhedra with various markings on them are certainly not unknown, the rigorous enumeration and codification of these kinds of objects does not appear to have been done before. These objects share various unifying properties partly described by group theory, complexity theory, and space tilings.
