Description

Work with the structures for energy and matter has given me the correct structures for the electron, proton and neutron. The previously unknown values obtained for proton?s and neutron?s un-damped magnetic moments now makes it possible to calculate the strong force binding energy between all subatomic particles. The strong force is revealed to be electromagnetic, as a result of the near field magnetic force being greater than the electric force. I find the binding energy is produced by the formation of a photon at the instant the electric and magnetic forces null. This created atomic energy accounts for the lost mass(energy) and exactly gives the well known mass defect in all atomic nuclei. This binding energy physics also applies to the pairing of electrons. The pairing of electrons was first postulated as making superconductivity possible (Cooper 1957) in the BCS theory, even though the actual physics of electron binding was not understood until now. The pairing of electrons by releasing of binding energy, now shows the physical mechanism for the quantum step resistance, the Josephson effect, and thermoelectric heating and cooling.
