  • The Electric Universe Illuminates Recent Discoveries (2012) [Updated 7 years ago]
by Wallace Thornhill   read the paper:

The Electric Universe is a cosmology that argues the powerful electromagnetic force plays a dominant role in the birth and life of stars. This new paradigm is an extension of well-established plasma cosmology. The Electric Universe has unequalled success in predicting and simply explaining many new discoveries in the space age without requiring ad hoc modifications and the introduction of unobservable entities and non-physical concepts. In this paper a new concept is introduced to explain enigmatic features of planetary nebulae.

  • Stars in an Electric Universe (2011 John Chappell Memorial Paper) (2011) [Updated 1 decade ago]
by Wallace Thornhill   read the paper:

There is nothing more powerful than a paradigm. When viewed through the lens of the standard gravitational and magnetohydrodynamic paradigm the Sun blinds us with paradoxes. Meanwhile models based on the electrodynamic behavior of plasma are ignored. The Nobel prizewinning plasma physicist, Hannes Alfv?n, was a pioneer in this new plasma cosmology. Two recent discoveries stand out in relation to Alfv?n's predictions so that ultimately he cannot be ignored. The first concerns the birth of stars and the second the electric circuit of the Sun. The Electric Universe extends plasma cosmology and views all stars as an electric discharge phenomenon.

  • Electricity or Gravity: Which Rules the Universe? (2008) [Updated 1 decade ago]

Proceedings of the SIS Cambridge Conference, Fitzwilliam College, 31st August - 2nd September 2007.

Ebook of 17 (7.7 MB) pages crammed with Wallace Thornhill's content leading the reader through a series of steps involving challenges to some of the foundational aspects of the prevailing cosmology. These include the mass=matter assumption, gravity. the nature of light, catastrophism, the birth of planets and stars, and the nature of redshift and how that relates to gravity and mass. All of this treats the reader to a remarkable dissertation on the new cosmology. Thornhill's answers to major issues, questions, and problems are different but consonant with the facts and the EU paradigm.
