Breakthrough Power: How Quantum-leap New Energy Inventions Can Transform Our World is a reader-friendly book for introducing revolutionary clean energy systems, Tesla devices and other zero-pollution prospects for sourcing nearly free energy.

Alternative energy abundance is humankind?s birthright, according to scientists interviewed for Breakthrough Power. They point out the rich variety of clean energy inventions that the public usually doesn?t hear about. Yet these topics directly relate to both climate change and the world economy and humanitarian projects.

For instance, when the human family realizes that oil wars and polluting nuclear power plants are unnecessary, tremendous financial resources can be freed for planetary cleanup, social justice and local prosperity.

Just in time for gift-giving, this long-awaited book provides hope for the future -- along with realistic reasons why we, the people, must help ?free the energy revolution.?

With compelling stories of brave innovators and their various breakthroughs that can replace coal and other polluting fuels, it makes the case for open-sourcing clean-energy inventions. The book explains how even ?non-techies? can envision and therefore help manifest a higher civilization assisted by energy abundance. It?s an easy-to-read wealth of information and illustrative stories.

Manning is the author of the internationally recognized book The Coming Energy Revolution (1996), and co-author of Angels Don?t Play This HAARP (1995). Garbon, a science consultant to industry, is president of The New Energy MovementBreakthrough Power is a profound gift to give to people of all ages who want a more harmonious world.

Although a broad collection of intriguing energy technology research is described in this book, it is annoying to read. Not only does it lack footnotes or references for any technical details but the author consistently asserts that the researchers described have been treated inappropriately and meanspiritedly. For example, Nikola Tesla couldn't obtain adequate funding and so was frozen out of the energy field. John Keely received funding but was pressured for quick results, causing his ruination. One third of the book deals with individuals working on "free/space energy" or "zero-point energy": the untapped energy that exists in space. The rest of the book deals with other technologies: cold fusion, hydrogen, water hammers, etc., and the problems their advocates have encountered. While some of these technologies do show promise, the author feels they have all been deliberately suppressed?either by government, big business, or the media. She ignores the practicality question and simply concludes that conspiracy and/or persecution explain why more progress hasn't been made. Not an essential purchase. - Hilary Burton, Lawrence Livermore National Lab., Livermore, Cal.

From a rural location in Alaska, controlled by "Big Oil", the US government is blasting billions of watts of high frequency microwave energy at our protective ionospheric shell which surrounds the earth. Their offical reason is "to see what it does". Several acres of Alaskan land have been dedicated to the construction of the HAARP array (you can actually find a picture of it online...)but it's real purpose runs from the practical (earth tomography (X-ray the earth to look for enemy submarines and secret underground bases)) through the hard to believe (transmission of electrical power without wires (Tesla's idea) through the insane (the complete disruption of global communications and mucking with weather patterns by shifting the jet stream).

This book is so well documented, often citing documents published by the US government itself, that it is absolutely convincing and frightening.  - Anthony G. Holland

The Granite Man and the Butterfly told the story of a simple man who was chosen for a heroic task. David Hamel was given information enabling him to build a craft that would provide an abundant source of nonpolluting energy. The book chronicled the frustration and enormous obstacles he faced, and indicates that his perseverance advances our understanding of electricity and magnetism.

To compile this book, editor Jonathan Eisen traveled the world in search of documented stories of scientific cover-ups, covert operations, and programs of deliberate misinformation, all designed to hide controversial inventions and discoveries, such as anti-gravity devices, limitless energy sources, results of cancer and AIDS research, and more. 40 photos. 30 illustrations.

The original edition was co-authored by Dr. Brian O?Leary, Christopher Bird, Jeane Manning, Barry Lynes and others and edited by Jonathan Eisen. This edition was published in 1995 in New Zealand by Auckland Institute of Technology Press. Later the co-authors signed their rights over to Jon Eisen so that he could more easily sell the book to Avery Publishing Group of New York.
