Just when you thought certain laws of physics were sacred, Ed Seykota comes along with some amazingly simple experiments that violate the supposedly "well-known" Bernoulli Effect. He shows that lift is not a function of fluid velocity, despite almost universal acceptance of the concept. Instead the suction effect that causes lift actually results from changes in the cross sectional area through which a stream of matter flows. "Radial Momentum" is Seykota's term to quantify the change in flow per area. These simple experiments demonstrate that "Radial Momentum" explains lift better than fluid velocity.
